JAMMU: NCC Naval Unit of J and K brought laurels to the state at National level by exhibiting their excellence in “Powered Ship Modeling” Competition. The “Powered Ship Model” prepared by Cadet Rafeeq Hajam, Cadet Rohit Sharma, and Cadet Mukesh Kumar at National Level Competition of Naval cadets was adjudged third in the competition. These Cadets were part of the NCC contingent of the J and K State which took part in various competitions at National level. Cadet Mohamed Rafeeq Hajam is son of Habib Ullah Hajam, a farmer and is a student of Amar Singh College Srinagar. Cadet Mukesh Kumar son of Bua Ditta, a farmer and is a student of Govt Degree College Samba. Cadet Rohit Sharma son of Yograj Sharma a Havldar in J&K Police and is student of Govt Degree College Samba.
