SRINAGAR: A Sarpanch of the ruling National Conference (NC) on Thursday died after being injured in a scuffle with a gas dealer in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said.
Abdul Rashid Wagay (45) suffered head injuries after being hit with some hard object by Shakeel Ahmad Khan, an LP gas dealer, during a scuffle over some issue yesterday, police official said.
He said Wagay was rushed to SKIMS hospital Soura, where he succumbed to injuries today.
Police have registered a case and arrested Khan. , Nov 27 (PTI)
