‘Nazrana’ authored by late Ghulam Nabi Zahoor released

JAMMU: The Funkar Cultural Organization and Sufi Media Service organized an impressive function at Press Club here on Tuesday wherein the book Nazrana authored by late Ghulam Nabi Shah Zahoor was released.
Several prominent writers and literary figures including, Dr. R.L. Shant, Dr. Ghulam Rasool Hasrat Gada and Aseer Kishtwari were present on the occasion.
The writers highlighted the literary contribution of late Ghulam Nabi Zahoor to the society and said that his good work will continue to inspire the future generations. They said that late Zahoor mainly focused on Sufism in Jammu and Kashmir in his books and highlighted the importance of rich composite culture of State and strong bonds of mutual brotherhood which is the unique identification of Jammu and Kashmir. The importance of Sufism is even more relevant in the present time when so many evils are dominating the society.
While highlighting the rich contribution of late Zahoor Sahib, Dr. R.L. Shant and Dr. G.R. Hasrat Gadda maintained that demise of the writer is a great loss to the entire society and he will remain alive in the hearts of writers and readers who loved him much. They also paid rich tributes to late writer and prayed for peace to his soul.
