Nagpur: A naxal couple from Tipagarh dalam in Gadchiroli surrendered before the district police.
Jaggu alias Yeshwant Tulavi, 23, who belonged to Malagaon in Korchi taluka and his wife Rina Hemlata Panchu Puda (22), both ultras who worked in Tipagarh dalam gave up arms and surrendered on December 2, Gadchiroli police said in a statement last night.
Police, however, did not give their past record.
So far, 37 naxals including one divisional committee member, three commanders, three deputy commanders and 27 dalam members have surrendered this year, the release added.
