Nature’s Lap International School wins five medals in Karate

POUNI: Students of Nature’s Lap International School performed well and bagged five medals in J and K State Karate Championship held at MA Stadium, Jammu here. They won one gold and two silver medals besides two bronze medals to make their presence felt.
Shushant Mangotra secured gold medal while Kashvee Sharma and Megha Sharma won silver medal and Sidharth Raina and Kiran Sharma clinched bronze medals.
School Managing Director, Captain Jagdish Raj Sharma appreciated students achievement. He said academics and sports were two sides of a coin and motivated them to participate in games.
Principal Meenakshi Sharma congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of the Coach Anil Sharma and teachers Gurvinder Kour and Sweety Mahajan whose hard work has brought laurels to the school. Meanwhile Rohit Sharma of Anil Karate Academy of Kheralehar Reasi bagged gold medal in senior weight category in the said championship.
