JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Chief, Bhim Singh welcomed the promulgation of Governor Rule in J and K which was the only alternative to save democracy, rule of law and dignity of the citizens from the anarchy and political mess in the State.
Bhim welcomed the imposition of Governor Rule imposed under section 92 of J and K Constitution as the Constitution of India nor its provision are applicable in the state of J and K.
Singh also demanded cancellation of the recently held Assembly election so that fresh elections in accordance with Supreme Court order may be held in the interest of democracy and rule of law.
Similar welcome demonstration was also held in Jammu and Srinagar by the Panthers Party.
