SRINAGAR: The Chairman/ CEC LAHDC, Leh Rigzin Spalbar along with a delegation comprising Nawang Otsal, Manager Hemis Monastery, Tsering Morup Vice President LBA and Dr. Eshey Namgyal General Secretary Hemis Cultural Welfare Society on Wednesday met Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and apprised him about the next year celebration of Naropa’s Millennial Anniversary with display of six Naropa ornaments in Summer 2016.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, B.B Vyas, was also present on the occasion.
The Chairman sought support of State Government to LAHDC, Leh for necessary preparation and construction of various essential amenities like public parking space, roads, and drinking water facilities required during the mega religious event.
The Chairman also submitted a Detail Project Report prepared by LAHDC, Leh for construction of various essential amenities during the mega religious event to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister on spot directed the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, B.B Vyas to examine and process the case at the earliest.
The Chairman made request for helicopter service for the visit of the Shakya Rinpochey to Nubra and Skitmang village during visit to Ladakh this year.
The Chief Minister assured the Chairman that the State Government will accord it the highest priority for successful organizing of the mega event.
