Jammu: In a relentless pursuit against drug peddlers, Jammu Police under the operation “Sanjeevani,” made a significant recovery apprehending one Gulzar Hussain, son of Hassan Din, resident of Baghyal Dhara , District Poonch with approximately 1 kg 230 grams of heroin.
Briefing media, SP South Ajay Sharma said that a team led by SHO Police Station Bahu fort and Incharge Police Post Narwal culminated in the arrest of the accused in the Narwal area.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 200/2024 U/S 8/21/22 of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort, the commercial recovery has been a decisive step towards curbing the drug trade in the area which has a few drug hotspots in the surroundings. The recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO East and SP South.
