JAMMU: Police on Friday arrested one Narco smuggler and recovered 35 grams heroin from their possession.
According to a report, a party of Police Post Digiana during a Naka at Digiana Pulli intercepted one pedestrian coming from Satwari towards Digiana Pulli. During checking, police recovered 35 grams heroin like substance from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR No 226/2017 under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and further investigation of the case is going on. The arrest and recovery was made by SHO Gandhi Nagar, Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia assisted by SI Pawan Dogra, Incharge Police Post Digiana under the supervision of SDPO City South, Jammu, Rafiq Manhas and SP City South, Sandeep Choudhary.
