KATRA: Police on Thursday arrested a Narco smuggler and recovered 500 grams Charas from his possession.
As per the report, a police team headed by Sub Inspector Vikas Jasrotia, In-Charge Police Post Kakryal acting on a specific input, laid Naka at Kakryal near SMVD University and recovered 29 Chhallis weighing 500 grams of Charas from the possession of Rakesh son of Chain Nath resident of Bhutan Tehsil Katra District Reasi. The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 37/2016 under section 8/20 NDPS Act, was registered at Police Station Katra.
