SUNDERBANI: After meeting Chief Minister (CM) Mufti Mohd Sayeed in Srinagar delegation of Basist Sabha met DIG of Rajouri Poonch Range Ashok Kumar Atri and ASP Rajouri Tajinder Singh regarding the case of attack on Naib Sarpanch Bakher and other cases.
DIG Rajouri issued a direction to SHO Sunderbani to quickly arrest to accused.
According to report a delegation of Basist Sabha under the supervision of District President of Basist Sabha retired Captain Raj Kumar along with ten members met Mufti Mohd Sayeed in Srinagar and highlighted some social works and after that they met DIG and ASP Rajouri for highlighting the same.
They apprised the officer that on 10th June 2014 Naib Sarpanch Bakher was going to his sister’s house in village Dheri to give some cash and in Baja Bain some miscreants attacked and beat him badly. They said his golden chain, eighty one thousand rupees money and one mobile was looted. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sunderbani from where he was referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu. They alleged that after registering FIR SHO Sunderbani has not taken any action against the accused. DIG issued a direction to SHO Sunderbani to arrest the accused persons soon.
