Nagrota constituency faces lack of development: Harsh
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Harsh Dev Singh expressed disappointment and resentment over the lack of development in the entire Nagrota constituency.
He brazenly held the BJP MLA Jugal Kishore (now MP) responsible for the pathetic condition of Nagrota and other adjoining villages and held him culpable of ruining the destiny of the local people.
Harsh was addressing public meetings at Dansal, Kapota, Jindrah, Korga Krishanpur, Manwal and Surinsar areas of Nagrota Assembly segment.
Accompanied by the contesting candidate Vilakshan Singh, Harsh, while speaking at Dansal, wondered how could people get swayed away by the divisive forces and elected a representative for two consecutive terms who is a hard core illiterate with alleged criminal antecedents.
He vociferously dared the rhetoric of the BJP where it made tall claims to alleviate the dynastic rule in J&K but shamelessly on the other hand gave the mandate to Nand Kishore, younger brother of the ex-MLA and the sitting MP to contest from the Nagrota Assembly constituency.
Lampooning at the political hegemony created by ‘Kishore brothers’, Harsh said that it is conspicuous that the elder one has managed to become MP by riding on Modi’s wave and side by side paved the way for his younger brother to become MLA at the cost of the meritorious candidates who have been left in lurch by the BJP.
Harsh asserted that the incumbents seem to be power hungry for their vested interests and are using the political clout to shield their crimes and other misdeeds.
Showing widespread dissatisfaction with the BJP incumbents people raised slogans against Jugal Kishore and Nand Kishore and also demanded immediate investigation against the perpetrators so that they could be brought to books at the earliest.
Vilakshan Singh while expressing his solidarity with the people demanded judicial probe into the matter and lambasted the BJP for hoodwinking the electorate with its false promises and propaganda.
He said that the disability and inefficiency of the BJP MLA who could not even speak in the assembly led to the gross deterioration of Nagrota constituency and the MLA failed to live up to the expectations of the people and urged the electorate not to get trapped again in the false propaganda of the BJP.
Vilakshan claimed that Panthers Party is the only regional party of Jammu Pradesh which has been fighting for the rights and justice of the Dogras. He urged the people to vote consciously and elect the genuine and vowed that if he is elected as MLA he would develop Nagrota as a model constituency on the analogy of Ramnagar besides liberating the people of all communities from their sufferings and discrimination.
