KISHTWAR: To provide an opportunity to the youth of Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban Districts to display their sporting talent and reinforce self confidence as well, Indian Army organised a Chenab Valley Volleyball Tournament under Operation Sadhbhavana at Chawgan Ground, here.
In the final match played on Monday, Nachlana Sports Club defeated Sharaj Club at 3-1.
A total of 12 teams enrolled for the tournament and the matches were conducted on league-cum-knockout basis.
The prizes include a championship trophy, individual mementos and cash prize for winner and runner up team and the team secured third and fourth positions in the tournament were distributed in the closing ceremony.
Jaffar of Nachlana Sports Club from Ramban District was adjudged the Best Player of the Tournament.
