NABARD organises Financial Literacy Camps

RAMBAN: Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) Programmes were conducted by NABARD in villages of Block Sangaldan in Ramban District. The programmes were attended by Mohd Illiyas Wani LDM Ramban, S.K Khosla Director RSETI, Mohan Singh FLCC Ramban, Vinod Gupta Branch Manager JK Bank Sangaldan and more than 50 villagers were also present in the programmes. First FLC was conducted in Villlage Sangalkundi on 1st Jan 2015 and second FLC was conducted in Village Barakund on 2nd Jan 2015
Nikhil Sharma, APM NABARD informed the villagers about the various schemes that are being implemented by NABARD for the benefits of villagers. He also talked about KCC and Bhoomiheen Kissan Yojana being launched wherein landless labourers and tenant farmers can also avail KCC by forming Joint Farmer Groups.
LDM Ramban discussed in detail PMJDY and other benefits related to the scheme. FLCC Ramban also discussed in detail about PMJDY. Director RSETI informed the gathering about the various Self-employment trainings that are being provided by RSETI. Branch Manager JK Bank informed the gathering about various advances and deposits schemes and called upon general public to take advantage of such schemes.
The aim of the programme was to create awareness among the general public regarding the various financial products that are being offered by bank to general public.
