MVM Jammu hosts Investiture Ceremony, felicitation program for sports participants

JAMMU: Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) Jammu held its Investiture and Prize Distribution ceremony, celebrating academic excellence, sporting achievements, and leadership for the Academic Year 2024. The event recognized the hard work and dedication of students across various fields.
The ceremony began with Principal Vishnu Govind Verma administering the Oath of Service. This significant moment saw student leaders pledging to work tirelessly for the betterment of the school.
Following this, the Student Council Members showcased their spirit and unity with a majestic march past, setting a vibrant tone for the proceedings.

In the prize distribution segment, students were honoured for their outstanding academic performance from Nursery to Class 12 for the Academic Year 2023.
Notably, the achievements in sports were also highlighted, with several students receiving accolades for their remarkable accomplishments.
Amulya Rasgotra was recognized as a gold medalist at the national level, while Keshav Singh Randhawa secured a bronze medal at the same level. Aayaan Tickoo was celebrated for winning gold in the Asian Championship in Taekwondo, and Gurteej Singh in Mastogi Do also received a bronze at the national level. Vaibhav Mehta was honored for his achievements in badminton at the state level.
The Student Council Members included the Head Boy Anupam Krishna, Head Girl Harman Kour, and other elected representatives such as house captains, sports captains, cultural captains, and discipline captains. Their roles are pivotal in fostering leadership and teamwork within the school.
Principal Vishnu Govind Verma emphasized the importance of leadership, teamwork, and responsibility during his address. He encouraged student leaders to strive for excellence, promote unity, and create a positive impact within the school community.
The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem and a heartfelt vote of thanks. The student leaders left the stage committed to discharging their duties with passion and dedication, setting a promising tone for a successful academic year ahead.
