JAMMU: To make people aware of health and fitness in their day to day life, Muscle Zone, Channi Himmat, organised a ‘Run for Fun’ marathon, on Saturday wherein large number of young and old people participated. The marathon started at 6:30 AM in the morning and took the full round of Channi Himmat spreading message to youth of Jammu to keep away from drugs and avoid drinking during driving.
The marathon was sponsored by J and K Wine Traders Association. The President of the association, Charanjeet Singh appreciated the efforts made by Raman Manhas (four times Mr. J&K), owner of the gym and its team especially Sachin Sr. Coach for their efforts in organizing this successful event. Raman and Charanjeet urged the youth to stay away from the drug abuse and play an important role in nation building and remain engaged in health/sports related activities.
