JAMMU: Musa Club Jammu and District Football Association (DFA) Kargil won their respective matches in close contests via tie-breaker to advance in the ongoing State Football Championship, organised by J&K Football Association at GGM Science College Ground, here today.
While Musa Club defeated Engineers XI 5-3, DFA Kargil trounced NGR Club Jammu 3-0.
In all, six matches were decided on the third day of the competition today.
In the opening match of the day, Shaheen Sports defeated Young Sports Jammu by a solitary goal while Jammu United outplayed fighting Param Football Club 6-5 via tie breaker.
Sainik Colony Club also won their tie played against DFA Kathua beating latter 6-5 via tie-breaker while DFA Ganderbal beat DFA Kupwara 1-0.
