POONCH: In a bizarre incident a man attacked his sister-in -law with a knife at Poonch on Monday.
According to a report, one Abdul Majid son of Ahmed Joo resident of Sher-e-Kashmir Bridge Colony, Ward No 2, Poonch over an argument with her sister-in-law attacked her with a knife resulting in serious injuries to her.
The injured identified as Shamim Aktar wife of Kadim Hussain resident of Sher-e-Kashmir Bridge Colony, Ward No 2 Poonch was shifted to District Hospital Poonch where she was under treatment.
The attacker who was absconding from the spot was later arrested by Pooch Police headed by SHO Rakesh Akram and a case under FIR No 178/2014 section 307,323,343 RPC was registered against him at Police Station Poonch.
