MP Khatana castigates Cong, PDP, NC for destruction in Kashmir

ANANTNAG: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and MP Rajya Sabha Er. Gulam Ali Khatana on Monday lashed out at the dynastic parties PDP, NC and Congress for pushing Jammu and Kashmir into quagmire of violence and destruction for last thirty years.
He held the dynastic parties responsible for destroying the future of two generations due to their self seeking politics.
Addressing a massive public meeting organized by BJP ST Morcha at Paroo, Kokernag in district Anantnag today Er. Gulam Ali said that the hands of the Cong, NC, PDP leaders are soaked in the blood of innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He warned the trouble mongers and looters that law will take its own course and the resources looted by them would be returned to the people of Union Territory.
Gulam Ali said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, the developmental scenario in the Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a revolutionary push with new highways and tunnels coming up at fast pace besides setting up new power projects which have the potential of generating huge employment in the UT.
He said that very shortly more than 3000 mobile towers will be installed/upgraded by BSNL in Kashmir valley to roll out 4G connectivity to the unconnected areas and remote areas.
MP praised the people of Kashmir especially Anantnag for upholding the secular traditions of J&K by extending every possible help during the conduct of annual Shri Amarnath Yatra.
He said that Anantnag has abundant natural resources which need to be utilized judiciously for the betterment of the people of the area.
He said that peace and development are the keywords for restoring the pristine glory of the J&K and ensuring common men’s upliftment.
He said that visit of more than 1.70 Crore visitors to J&K speaks volume about the efforts of BJP led government to ensure well being of the people dependent on tourism.
Earlier Roshan Choudhary, president BJP ST Morcha welcomed the MP Gulam Ali on his maiden visit to district Anantnag.
Others present were Showkat Wani, Minority Morcha spokesperson Muneera, Constituency President Imran Rasool, ST District President Abrar Ahmed, Constituency General Secretary Shabir Ahmad Beigh.
Later MP Gulam Ali visited the residence of Late Amjad Choudhary, a prominent social worker to pay his last respects to the departed soul.
