POKHRAN: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Rajya Sabha, Gulam Ali Khatana on Monday gave a clarion call for “Congress Mukt Rajasthan” as a crucial milestone in the quest for a new and prosperous state. He said that this initiative goes beyond being a mere slogan; it reflects the determination of the people to free Rajasthan from corruption and the stronghold of dynastic politics.
Addressing various public meetings in Pokhran assembly constituency in favour of BJP candidate Mahant Pratappuri ji Maharaj, MP Khatana highlighted the exploitation of common people by the Congress party, accusing them of falling short on delivering meaningful development and progress for the state of Rajasthan. He underscored the Bharatiya Janata Party’s persistent efforts to revive democracy and ensure the democratic rights of women, SCs/STs.
He asserted the transformative impact of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government. He commended the government’s historic decision to provide 33 percent reservation for women, a move aimed at empowering women and fostering gender equality. Additionally, he praised the initiative to provide free ration to 80 crore citizens, viewing it as a step that has opened up a plethora of opportunities for the people and contributed to restoring India’s cultural and traditional glory.
The BJP MP urged the citizens of Rajasthan to rally behind the vision of a “Congress Mukt Rajasthan” and participate actively in building a corruption-free and progressive state. He emphasized that this movement is not just a political stance but a collective endeavor to usher in an era of good governance, development, and social justice.
