MP Khatana accuses Cong of pushing youth towards dark ages

JAMMU: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader & MP Rajya Sabha (Nominated), Er. Gulam Ali Khatana inaugurated the Annual Dangal at Sydney Ground, Bathindi here where thousands of people witnessed the keenly contested wrestling matches.
Addressing the gathering, MP Khatana shedding light on the stark differences in youth empowerment approaches taken by the BJP and Congress, accused the Congress party of pushing the youth towards the abyss of drug abuse and dark ages while praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives aimed at channeling the energy of young Indians into nation-building activities.
He highlighted the BJP government’s commitment to empowering the youth and fostering an environment where they can excel in various fields.
One of the key initiatives mentioned was “Khelo India,” a programme aimed at promoting sports and nurturing sporting talent in the country.
The BJP government has not only introduced Khelo India but also invested in creating the necessary sports infrastructure, resulting in the emergence of a new breed of young athletes who have been excelling in various sports at national and international levels.
He criticized the Congress party for its alleged role in pushing the youth towards drug addiction and dark ages. He called upon the people to reflect on the choices they have when it comes to empowering the younger generation. The contrast between the BJP’s proactive approach in empowering youth and the Congress’s perceived failure in this regard was stark.
MP Gulam ALi Khatana urged the youth to embrace the opportunities created by the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He underlined that the future of India lies in the hands of its young citizens and that they should seize the chance to participate in nation-building activities, sports, and other creative endeavors.
