SAMBA: A motorcyclist was knocked to death by a truck at Mananu on Samba-Mansar road, here on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 38-year old Surinder Singh, son of Omkar Singh, resident of village Dhora, district Samba. According to police, Surinder Singh was on his way from Mansar to Samba on motorcyclist bearing registration number JK21B-1055 was died on spot when his motorcycle collided with truck bearing registration number PB10CG-4365 coming from opposite direction near Mananu. Samba police team lead by SHO Sanjiv Chib reached the spot shifted body to Government District Hospital Samba for autopsy. Police registered the case in this regard for further investigation.
