Morally upright students can take us closer to our dream – Viksit Bharat: Principal JKPS Kunjwani
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: The students of Class 10 conducted a brilliant morning assembly on the topic Righteousness.
Enlightening the audience on some happenings around the world, Aliza said, “It has been found by the scientist that in rats, a grapheme ‘tattoo’ stuck to the heart could treat an abnormally slow moving beat. Imagine if a ripped leather jacket could repair itself instead of being replaced. Yes, it is true. Fungus thread-like structures called mycelium have been made into a leather alternative. Researchers have found a way to coax the mycelium in the leather to re-grow after the material has been punctured. Can we also repair the pricked moral conscience?”
Reflecting further on the topic, the anchor invited Chakshit for the elaboration. “Dear friends, Righteousness means the quality of being morally right. It is a guiding force that drives us to the right path, which leads to the path of success. We need righteousness for a stable social structure and prosperous society/country in particular and world in general.” he added.
“A righteous person leads to a righteous society, a righteous society leads to a righteous nation and a righteous nation leads to a righteous world”, he further added.
“If we want our society to be righteous, then we first need to develop this in our character. We require righteousness for a progressive society where we are sure that our near and dear ones are safe and secure. Without righteousness in society, things like crime, disruption of social structure and anarchy may occur. There is a true power in righteousness. “Where there is righteousness in the heart, there is beauty in character”, concluded Ayushman, another brilliant student from the class.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore applauded students of Grade X for conducting a thought provoking assembly on the unconventional topic. He said, “Dear students, always remember that simple living & high thinking forever fetches us a happy & contented life. Honesty is one of the rarest personality traits in the current scenario. Amassing wealth through immoral ways never begets us peace and contentment. Moral righteousness is the earnest need of the hour to lead a happy life & to form a civic society”.
“Study thoroughly the life journey of great people, like, Swami Vivekananda, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Lal Bahadur Shastri, APJ Abdul Kalam etc. They lived their lives so transparently, being an open book. If they followed socially acceptable ways throughout their life voyage to live a morally upright life, then why can’t we follow their footprints”, he further added.
“My beloved children, let’s make this human incarnation worthwhile by adopting morally upright ways. Let’s take a pledge to be honest, sincere, morally strong, emotionally stable & never succumb to circumstantial pressures, however alluring they may be. Always remember: only morally upright students can take us closer to our dream – Viksit Bharat “, he summed up.
