Monthly Meeting of Retirees Police League District Jammu held

JAMMU: The monthly meeting of the Retirees Police League District Jammu was held on Wednesday under the Chairmanship of Karanjit Singh, President of the Retirees Police League District Jammu.
The meeting began with a two-minute silence to pay homage to the departed soul of Kamlesh Ghai, wife of Vijay Kumar Ghai, IPS DIG Retired, who passed away yesterday.
Following the tribute, various important issues were discussed, including discrepancies in pay anomalies among officers of the same ranks, reservation of jobs for the wards of retired police personnel, and the provision of free medicines to serving and retired police personnel in all government hospitals, especially police hospitals.
A strong request was made to the Chairman of Ex-Police Personnel, DGP R.R Swain, to personally address these matters.
It was noted that R.R. Swain has a very positive approach towards the welfare of retired police personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
The meeting was attended by a large number of legendary retired police personnel members of the League, including Ch. Chirag Din, IPS, Kr. Ranjit Singh, IPS, Sarwar Chohan, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, Mukesh Kumar, SSPs B.L. Kaul, Sardar Khan, SPs Kr. Yoginder Singh, Kuldip Raj, Mohan Singh, J.S. Chib, Insp. Mohd Sadiq, Vice President Dhian Singh, V.R.R. Bali, Satpal, Balwinder Kumar, Ramesh Chander, Mohinder Kumar, Satpal Singh, Noor Ahmed and Joginder Singh.
DIG JKS Range conveyed his gratitude to all retirees for their participation in the meeting.
