Modi’s 50-day deadline paralysed nation: NSUI

JAMMU: Expressing strong resentment over illogical demonetisation which has paralysed nation’s wealth, scores of students under the banner of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) staged protest against the BJP Government.
The students carrying placards and banners assembled in front of Jammu University main gate and blocked the road amidst anti-government slogans.
Leading the protest, Neeraj Kundan J&K State President NSUI while said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to meet his own 50-day deadline to restore order to the country’s economy and ease the hardship faced by ordinary citizens following the chaos of his sudden currency ban. Now people want to know, what was gained after suffering so much pain, still the situation is grim and there is no hope of an early revival.
Kundan added that AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi has sought answer to the five questions, on behalf of the entire countrymen over the issue of demonetization.
Kundan reminded the public about Modi’s promise which states “I have asked for just 50 days,” in his emotional speech. “If after 30th December, there are shortcomings in my work or there are mistakes or bad intentions found in my work, I will be prepared for any punishment at any crossroad of the county that you decide for me,” Kundan mentioned.
Those who joined the protest include Amjad Butt, Avijot Singh, Ajay Kumar, Puneet Singh, Sunny Parihar, Mehran Anjum, Ramesh and Vishal Kotwal.
