KATHUA: J and K Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) on Wednesday held a protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj at Dayalchak in District Kahtua on Wednesday.
Pranav Shagotra PYC Chief led the demonstration and others who participated included Rajveer Singh General Secretary PYC, Pankaj Basotra Lok Sabha President, Vinay Sharma Vice President Lok Sabha, Paramjeet Singh, Ashwini Sharma, Romy Khajuria and Chetan Wanchoo.
Youth Congress leaders torched the effigy of Sushma Swaraj for her dubious role of helping in granting travel documents to Lalit Modi, who is an accused, the cases against Lalit Modi are being probed by the Enforcement Directorate and he has been declared as an absconder.
Pradesh Youth Congress condemned the role of Sushma Swaraj and also PM Narendra Modi for shielding his Cabinet colleague Swaraj.
While lodging a protest against Modi led Govt at Centre, Shagotra castigated PM for maintaining silence and not taking action against Sushma Swaraj. “Modi and his team has been exposed fully in-front of the people for helping accused persons” Shagotra said and questioned Modi’s reluctance about not taking action.
Pradesh Youth Congress while demanding resignation of Sushma Swaraj from the Union Cabinet urged PM Modi to respond and clear his position.
