Modi has special place in heart for J&K: Priya Sethi

JAMMU: Former Minister Priya Sethi on Sunday emphasized that Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Sehat Scheme will prove to be a game-changer in providing equity in health care services to all the residents of Jammu and Kashmir and said that Prime Minister of India has a special place in heart for the residents of UT of J&K.
Former minister said that Sehat Scheme is a gift from PM to the residents of J&K.
In a statement, the former minister asserted that the new health scheme initiated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi proved to be a game changer for India’s health system and now every poor person can avail treatment in best hospitals across the nation.
She said that people’s welfare is the core agenda of the BJP led Central Government and the government will ensure that all workable reforms and benefits percolate to each and every resident hassle free.
Terming the scheme as a major support for facilitating the healthcare and benefit to all the residents, even from the most relegated sections of the society, Priya said that the Modi government is committed to improve the overall standard of life of J&K residents. “The most important aspect of the scheme is the portability option which will allow the beneficiary families to avail cashless service from any of the health care providers empanelled under AB-PMJAY across the country. At present, there are 23,300 empanelled hospitals across India where this facility can be availed including 218 public and private hospitals already empanelled in J-K,” she said, adding that patients can avail 1,592 medical packages which have already been approved under Sehat Scheme.
Priya Sethi reiterated that the present health scenario in J&K has recorded improvements under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The senior BJP leader asserted that the BJP led government at the Centre is committed to improve health sector in J&K. She mentioned that among the 140 projects sanctioned by the government, 75 are already completed and another 26 of them will be completed by March next year. The construction work of two Cancer Institutes’ is going on in full swing and about 416 ambulances have been dedicated to the public services, she said.
The former minister appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to avail the benefits initiated by our hard working PM for the betterment of the common man.
