Vijaypur: Suggesting NDA Government led by Prime Minister Narindra Modi to awake from deep slumber, former Minister and JKPCC General Secretary Manjit Singh on Monday alleged that most Indian security forces personnel were killed under the present government.

Chairing a meeting of party workers at Vijaypur, Manjit Singh asked the government to introspect how their foreign policy has dashed in view of no vision.

“Modi government is strong in words and when it comes to delivery, they are providing a weakest government to India. The enemy is taking advantage of this weak government and carrying out attacks on the security forces on the border and in Kashmir as well,” said Manjit Singh citing several examples.

The former minister said that there is no concrete road map with the Prime Minister and he is only issuing statements without caring about the Indian foreign policy.

“The country is under a weak political party and they are trying to befool people with their false propaganda. India must have a leader like former Prime Minister Indra Gandhi,” he said, adding that Pakistan is issuing threat to the national security but ruling coalition in centre does not give any heed to such serious issues.

“In Jammu and Kashmir too, the PDP-BJP combine has been doing nothing except misleading the people of all three regions. There is no development. Every attempt is being made by the ruling BJP to send back Jammu to stone age,” he alleged.

He said that there is no tourism promotion in Jammu, border areas are under-developed, and people are suffering due to the poor governance.

“People now-a-days remember Congress Party which kept all the three regions united and every region developed equally without any discrimination,” he alleged.

Former minister alleged that discrimination is at glare under BJP Government in Jammu and Kashmir with less employment opportunities to unemployed youth of Jammu, discrimination in jobs and other sectors.

“Developmental activities have come to standstill and there is no headway with regard to the development in Jammu,” said JKPCC General Secretary.
