Modi Govt must restore peace along border: Satwant
SAMBA: Senior NC Leader and candidate from Samba Assembly Constituency Satwant Kaur Dogra on Wednesday said that the ceasefire violations on border are increasing, civilians are being killed and are forced to migrate from border areas.
She termed these violations as matter of serious concern and appealed to Modi Government to ensure permanent peace along border. She said it is the obligation of the Prime Minister to resolve the crisis which is impacting the civilians who are forced to live like nomads. She interacted with people taking temporary shelter at R.R Resorts and Panchayat Ghars of RakhAmbTali, Kali Bari and assured them all possible help. Volunteers of National Conference led by District Vice President Anil Singh Sambyal organised Langar at R R Resorts, Samba.
Expressing grave concern over prevailing hostile situation on the International Border (IB) due to continues firing NC leader Satwant Kaur Dogra said that people are fed up with this kind of situation and wanted a permanent solution to it. She appealed to government to take final decision on allotment of 5 Marla plots along with financial help for border residents and urged district administration to provide ration, relief and free medical facilities immediately.
