JAMMU: Model Academy in collaboration with Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) organised an “I-Survive” Adventure camp at Patnitop for its students.
“I-Survive” is a unique initiative primarily targeted at the youth for attitude shaping and developing life skills.
The idea is to take students out of their comfort zones and instill in them new attitudes, fresh ideas and motivate them to cultivate essential survival skills to succeed in today’s competitive world. The “I-Survive” camp is equipped with modern tents and all basic amenities giving the participants a unique outdoor experience. Packaged in a fun format, the camp delivers very important learning’s through elaborate debriefing exercises by expert trainers; hence it is a novel academic initiative for today’s youth. Around 60 students from Model Academy and MIER College of Education accompanied by the faculty members attended the two-day camp. A lot of adventure fun filled activities were organised for the students which included rope climbing, passing the Burma bridge, crawling under the net, double rope bridge, fox flying, trekking etc.
