REASI: MLA Gulabgarh, Abdul Gani Malik today toured flood-hit areas of Chassana, Tajar, Sonuari, Lad-Dhamni, Balmatkot, Barathu in Reasi District and took stock of damages to the public assets, private property and crops.
The MLA assured the people that the government would provide every assistance to rehabilitate affected people.
“I assure that government will provide every help to enable reconstruction and rehabilitation of the affected people,” Malik said.
He assured the local administration that there will be no dearth of relief material from State Government.
However, he instructed the officers to make sure that the relief material being sent from State Government is promptly distributed to each and every one who is affected.
After the completion of survey of the affected area, Malik distributed relief material to the victims and also convened a meeting of the administration at Mahore.
