JAMMU: Hitting out Congress for their alleged anti-national activities, Member Legislative Assembly, Doda Constituency, Shakti Raj Parihar on Wednesday demanded high level probe to investigate the matter.
MLA, Doda in Legislative Assembly said, “Congress Party workers are active in reviving militancy in Doda, as recently several Congress workers have been arrested by police along with Hawala money including the close associate of former Minister from Doda.” He said, “People of Doda are peace loving and they want development but Congress has been working with different mission to disturb peaceful atmosphere.” “They are exploiting poor people living in far-flung areas of Doda by using Hawala money transactions linked to Dubai and Pakistan routes. Police has recently arrested many Congress workers in Doda with Hawala money which could be used for anti-national activities,” Shakti said while speaking during zero hour in Assembly.
“I have requested government to intervene and take this matter seriously as I have doubt that more Congress leaders are involved in this nexus. A committee should be framed to investigate the involvement of Congress leaders in the anti-national activities in past and present. They are making every possible effort to revive militancy in Doda.” he added. He said Kashmir unrest is the creation of National Conference and Congress by hatching conspiracy with Hurriyat conference as they can’t digest the BJP-PDP alliance in the State and they tried to topple the government but failed to do so. The opposition in support with Hurriyat tried their level best to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in Chenab Region especially in Doda, but people were aware of their nefarious designs and therefore maintained the spirit of brotherhood and communal harmony.
