POONCH : Police on Saturday traced a 38-year- old woman from Jammu who went missing on 9th December.
As per police sources, family of the woman hailing from a village of Mandi lodged a complaint with Police Station Mandi regarding missing of their daughter-in-law. A missing report was filed vide DD no. 05 on 9th December 2016 at police station Mandi in this regard.
To trace and recover the missing women at the earliest, SSP Poonch J.S Johar formed a special team under the supervision of DySP headquarters Poonch Mohan Sharma and a manhunt was launched to trace the woman.
On specific information, a police team led by SHO Mandi Masoof Mirza traced the missing women from Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu.
The woman has been handed over to the family members after completing all the legal formalities.
