POONCH: Police on Saturday traced a missing man from Poonch and handed him to the family after completing all legal formalities.
As per the details, on 2nd December, a complaint was lodged at Poonch Police Station with regard to a 27 year-old man missing from Qasba area of Poonch.
On sensing the gravity of situation, SSP Poonch J.S Johar constituted a special team under the supervision of ASP Poonch Masroor Mir headed by Mohan Sharma Dy.SP Headquarters Poonch along with SHO Poonch Jatinder Raina to trace the missing man.
Consequently, Police team swung into action and activated the sources as well as enquired from the relatives of missing man/ villagers and conducted a series of raids at different locations and acting on a tip off traced the missing man within 24 hours from the outskirts of Poonch .The missing man after completing all legal formalities was handed over to the family and in this connection Case Fir no 194 us 364 RPc stands registered at Police Station Poonch and investigation is taken up to unfold the mystery of missing.
