JAMMU: State Congress Chief, G.A Mir met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi in Union Capital and discussed political developments of the J and K State.
PCC Chief in separate meetings with Congress President and Vice President, discussed, threadbare, the socio political situation obtaining in the State. Many issues of public importance also came under discussion.
PCC Chief apprised the leaders about the ongoing membership drive of the Party, which is in final phase, briefed them about the organizational affairs. Mir also mentioned the restructuring and rejuvenation of Block Congress Committees and District Congress Committees through a democratic process after completion of the ongoing membership drive.
Later, Mir also met LOP in Rajyab Sabha, Gulam Nabi Azad and General Secretary AICC Ambika Soni and discussed with them the overall socio political situation obtaining and several other issues concerning people in the State.
