Minimum income

0 121

Dear Editor,
After Independence, it should have been the primary duty of the State to assess the income of each family with which the members could sustain a normal life. But politicians never took interest in assessing the minimum income, and instead, introduced subsidy system, free food and cheaper food to the poor. We should prescribe income sets for families and then work on various schemes. People do not need charity and concessions, but proper income, and if the present government is interested, it must assess the minimum income; only then it would be able to consider how to achieve the
target.
