Mini Volleyball team leaves for Nationals

JAMMU: State Mini Volleyball (boys) team left today for participation in the 25th Mini National Volleyball Championship to be held at Murena in Madhya Pradesh from 20th to 24th November.
Prior to proceeding for Nationals, the team underwent a 12-day intensive coaching camp which was organized by Volleyball Association of J and K at MA Stadium Sports Complex here. The camp was held under the supervision of volleyball coach, Onkar Singh of J and K State Sports Council.
The team was also visited by President of the Association, Sidharth Daluja, who wished boys all success in the upcoming event. He also gave uniform kits to all players.
Imran Khan and Deepak Kumar accompanied the team as coach and manager respectively. The J&K team has been placed in Pool-B and shall play their matches against Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Delhi and Pondicherry at the group stage. Earlier, the selected team underwent screening conducted by the J and K State Sports Council.
The Team: Sandeep Sadhotra, Gourav Sangra, Neeraj Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Rahul Verma, Vipin Singh, Sunil Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Happy Kumar, Abhay Singh, Ganesh Dass and Rohit Kumar.
The team is sponsored by Volleyball Association of J and K.
