Jammu: In a shocking incident that happened today in Trikuta Nagar area; two unknown persons fired 2 rounds in the air. The incident took place in Trikuta Nagar area near Shiv Temple on Channi-Trikuta Nagar link road patch.
According to sources, two youth in a Silver Alto bearing registration number JK12 6209 parked their car in front of the temple. The Pujaari of the temple requested them not to park the car there i.e right in front the Shiv temple; they argued with the Pujari and then fired two rounds and fled from the spot. Bullets fired by them hit the glass of Shiv Murti. However, no casuality has been reported.
SDPO Rafeeq Manhas said, “Both the individuals who had reportedly been absconding from the site have been arrested from Akhnoor area.”
