The killings of innocent people continue in Kashmir and the terrorists have stepped the senseless violence and are on the killing spree of the people to show their wicked presence. It is very sad and unfortunate that the enemies of humanity are now targeting the women flock and small children to satisfy their sadistic pleasure. The innocent civilians both men and women, young and old and the policemen continue to be killed by the terrorists. With the merciless and senseless killings of the innocent people both men, women, children and old and infirm the terrorists are targeting and killing the soft targets and the policemen who are protecting the lives of all of us. The terrorists are killing policemen off and on and are creating scare and fear among policemen. From the last one year the terrorists are targeting and killing the policemen without any remorse and it is the height that even the families of the martyred policemen do not condemn such heinous killings of their family members under pressure and fear of the terrorists as they fear retaliation by the terrorists. The land of Kashmir is socked with the innocent blood of the policemen and the unarmed blood of the civilians. We can say that the terrorists are spilling the innocent human blood and creating fear psychosis among the policemen and the civilians alike. The continuous killings of the security forces and the civilians are a matter of grave and great concern and it deserves the strongest condemnation from all the people including the families of the slain policemen. However it is a sad commentary on the state of affairs that the family members of the slain policemen are hesitant and do not condemn the killings of their family members for the fear of retaliation from the terrorists. The continuous killing of the policemen and the unarmed civilians including the women flock and the small children is a cause of grave and serious concern and such killings are very dastardly and have no place in a liberal democracy. Therefore, such unabated killings of the policemen and other innocent people should not be allowed to take place in the UT as these gave a bad image to the Kashmiriyat and therefore these dastardly acts deserve strong condemnation. The senseless and merciless killings should not take place in the UT at all as these killings bring disrepute to the age old Kashmiriyat and Sufi culture because the targeted killings of the people belonging to the minority Pandit community are taking place without any break and giving a bad name to the Kashmiri culture and Hindu-Muslim unity.It is very unbecoming that the policemen are being targeted and killed without any fault and continuously and such senseless killings should stop in the interest of the UT and country. When the policemen guarding the civilians are not safe and how they can protect the common men of the Kashmir is the million dollars question and it needs an answer from those championing the false narrative of normalcy. The normalcy balloon of the BJP has punctured and there are no takers of the normalcy theory of the government. Since last few months the terrorists are on the prowl of the policemen and the innocent and unarmed civilians and are killing them at their sweet will which is a very serious matter and such heinous crimes should not be allowed to happen and tarnish our image of being peaceful. Not only the policemen are being killed but the civilians including the women folk are also being targeted and killed for no fault of theirs except that they are living a free life and are contributing to the welfare of the UT economy and society, so these killings should be halted for the interest of the Jammu and Kashmir but it is not so and the senseless killings continue and tarnish the our image in the comity of nations. During last few months the terrorists have stepped up their crime of targeting and killing policemen and civilians and such heinous crimes are happening in Kashmir which is a cause of concern to the government and the people as well. These senseless killings should be stopped in the interest of the UT and its people. But that is not happening as the killings of the security forces and the innocent people continue unabated and this causes grief and fear among the police and civilians. The terrorists have shot down a policeman and injured his seven year old daughter in Soura area of Srinagar. The terrorists have killed constable Saifullah Qadri in Anchar area in Soura and injured his daughter which brought shock waves throughout the UT. Earlier to this incident on 13th may another policeman namely Fayaz Ahmad Thoker was killed when he was on leave in Pulwama. One more policeman named Mudasir Ahmad was killed in an encounter with terrorists in Baramulla. The deceased policeman was an SPO and was a brave policeman. It follows that the terrorists are killing the policemen and the innocent and unarmed civilians day in and day out, thus sending shock waves throughout the Union territory and the country at large. The BJP government claims that the conditions in Kashmir are normal but the fact is that the situation is far from normal as the killings of the security force Jawans and the innocent people are continuously taking place in the UT ever since the special provision of article 370 was scrapped on August 5, 2019. The annulling of the article 370 did not play any positive role in normalising the situation in Kashmir where policemen and the civilians as well as the women and children are made targets. It is very sad that a women T.V artist Amreen Bhat was killed inside her house and her nephew was also wounded. This heinous incident has shown that the enemies of humanity do not spare even women and children from killing and wounding. The killing of the TV artist is an assault on the freedom of expression which is guaranteed as a fundamental right in the constitution and this gruesome killing attracted strong condemnation from the political parties across the spectrum. This dastardly killing of the female T.V artist was condemned by the LG Manoj Sinha as well who said that we have resolved to end the terror ecosystem in the UT. The continuous killings of the security forces and the civilians in the broad day light speak volumes about the fearlessness of the terrorists who continue to target and kill the policemen and the innocent citizens in the broad day light and thus create fear psychosis among the policemen and the civilians. Not that the terrorists are not neutralised but they continue to get new ultra recruits and this is a serious issue and the new trainees should not be allowed to pollute the atmosphere of peace and tranquility in the UT which is vulnerable to violence as the terrorists continue to maim and kill the policemen and the civilians without any respite. The violence which was alien to our culture 34 year before has now become the DNA of the gun tottering youth who continue to target and kill the soft targets like policemen and the people from the both Muslim and Hindu community. The terrorists bring doom and destruction to the values of Kashmiriyat and the sufi culture of Kashmir and wound the composite culture beyond repair and this is the great tragedy and should not happen. The terrorists are killing the policemen of Jammu and Kashmir Police only because they are performing their allotted duties with dedication and thus the policemen are eyesore to the terrorists who thus kill them at their sweet will and choice. The policemen who are vulnerable to killings should be protected and modern gadgets and machinery should b e provided to the policemen so that their lives do not become soft targets. The terrorists are after the lives of the security forces and our disciplined Jawans should not leave any stone unturned to save their innocent and precious lives and give a tough fight to the forces of doom. All security agencies should work in tandem and coordination to give a death blow to terrorism which seems to be on the last leg now and it is because that the terrorism is about to die that the terrorists are stepping up violence to show their ugly presence. In brief the merciless and senseless killings are taking place in the UT and bringing disrepute to the Kashmiri composite culture and it is the moral duty of all of us to stand up against the terrorism so that it is finished from our soil and meets its natural death.
