Mehbooba implementing RSS agenda in Kashmir: Vakil
STATE TIMES NEWS
BARAMULLA: Former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil today accused Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for implementing RSS agenda and sought explanation from the government as to why “Identification Certificates” not required during last seventy years are required to be issued now. Saying that right from day one Mehbooba Government has been creating controversies in the name of so called Sainik Colonies, Kashmiri Pandit Transit Camps and industrial policy granting permission to non State Subjects, Vakil asked Mehbooba to explain the reasons for doing so is to divert the attention of people from dialogue over Kashmir, corruption and unemployment.
Reminding Mehbooba Mufti that she repeatedly sought a chance to work for the confidence building measures (CBM’s) on Kashmir during last six months of unrest but her government has now created an unwanted huge controversy by issuing identification certificates to West Pakistan Refugees (WPR’s) which is completely unnecessary as they have already got their identity as they vote in Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing Workers Convention at Dak Bungalow Sopore, Vakil stressed upon Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to withdraw Identification Certificates issues to (WPR’s) forthwith and start working on (CBM’s) on Kashmir and announce a high level probe by a Supreme Court judge to investigate the corruption cases pending against sitting legislators including those holding the offices and Ex legislators including those who worked as ministers in previous regimes.
