SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba Mufti, on Sunday visited the residence of Advocate Khursheed Iqbal Shah, a prominent PDP leader of Drugmulla in Kupwara district, to condole the demise of his wife and father.
Advocate Shah’s wife and father passed away in a quick succession. His father passed away on the third day of his wife’s death, who was ailing for some time.
Mehbooba expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Advocate Shah’s father and wife and offered special prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
The PDP president was accompanied by Abdul Haq Khan, MLA-elect; Naeem Akhtar, Chief Spokesperson; Raja Manzoor Ahmad, MLA-elect; Mohammad Yasir Reshi, District President, Bandipora; Fayaz Ahmad Mir, local party leader; Ghulam Mohammad Mir and Abdul Ahad Shumnagi.
