JAMMU: Mehak Gupta, daughter of Vinod Kumar Gupta and Vinod Mahajan, wife of Er. Vikas Mahajan,
resident of Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, has been
declared qualified for the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology, in the faculty of Life Sciences, by the University of Jammu. She worked on the topic “Comparative Genomics of Plantago Ovata Forsk and Arabidopsis Thaliana (L.) Heyhn With Respect to Transcription Factors Involved in Mucilage Biosynthetic Pathway” under the supervision of Prof. Manoj K. Dhar, Director, School of Biotechnology, University of Jammu.
