SRINAGAR: Meer Behri Yankees of Dal defeated Ashai Bagh Rovers 12-09 to lift the Srinagar District Baseball Championship played at sports field Bagh-i-Waris Kathi Darwaza ground, here.
Zulfiqar and Javid played excellently and both scored three homes each for the winners as Ajaz, Owais, Dilawar, Naeem, Idrees and Aqib contributed one home each.
Later on the President, J and K Baseball Association, M.M Gazanfar distributed the prizes and certificates among the winners and runners up teams.
