BANI: Wrestler Meenu Khatri of Haryana lifted the Bani Dangal title by defeating Sukha Pehalwan of Rajasthan.
On the valedictory function, Co- Treasurer of JKPCC, Rajnish Sharma (Mian), gave away the winner a prize of Rs. 51,000 to the winner of main bout in presence of a large gathering of spectators.
The people of the area witnessed Chhinj Mela along with cultural programme that is organized by Pahari Cultural Manch of Bani annually.
On the occasion, Rajnish Sharma (Mian) Co- Treasurer of JKPCC, also donated Rs. 5,100 to the Pahari Cultural Manch and promised to make all out efforts to promote this Mela on a large scale next year.
