Medical employees highlight demands

UDHAMPUR: A meeting of the Jammu & Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) was held under the chairmanship of District President Dheeraj Sharma on Friday in Udhampur in which employees highlighted their long pending genuine demands.
Speaking in the meeting Sharma demanded to release salary of multipurpose workers working in Health Department, filling up of vacant posts at various health and family centers, releasing of seniority list, consolidating daily Safai Karamcharis working for the last five to 20 months, pension to female multipurpose workers at par with other categories and many more. In the meeting members also decided to hoist National Flag in the premises of CMO office on Republic Day. Others who present in meeting include Narinder Sharma, Ashwani Khajuria, Dev Raj, Varinder Singh, Ravi Gupta, Mahatma Singh, Kranti Gupta, Basant Singh, Asgar Ali, Imran Khan, Nazir Ahmad, Bipon Kumar, Meena Devi, Jaitnder Dogra, Vijay Salia, Sanjay Gupta, JD Sharma, Bal Krishan and Jagdish Sharma.
