SRINAGAR: A free medical camp was organised for the flood affected people of Akhoon Mohalla inside the Dal Lake by a social organization namely, J and K Voluntary Health Association (JKVHA) in collaboration with J and K State Social Welfare Board, here on Monday.
Thousands of patients from the adjoining areas were provided expert medical advice and free medicines in the camp. The medical team was led by HoD Community Medicines, SKIMS Hospital, Prof. Abdul Majid. Another team of doctors deputed by Chief Medical Officer, Srinagar, Civil Defence Volunteers and Deputy Controller also participated in the camp and provided services to the patients.
