Media plays a constructive role in J&K tonormalize situation after abrogation of Article 370

SRINAGAR: Bharatiya Janta Party organised a first of its kind of press interaction meet in Amar Singh Club Srinagar. Several National and local media heads and other personalities were present in this session.
Chief Spokesperson, Sunil Sethi said, in his inaugural speech that Modi government has completed 9 years of Sushassan and 1.40 crore people are being benefited by the government schemes and other development projects, in which several projects are being carried out in Jammu and Kashmir like world’s highest railway bridge on river Chenaab, dozens of tunnels on NH44, Smart City projects in Srinagar and Jammu, Ujwala Yojana and Aayushmaan Bharat health Scheme.
He said although security forces are doing their job on ground level to bring peace in the Valley but on the other hand we are very thankful to people of Jammu and Kashmir and media organisations who are the real heroes of the society to normalise the situation after 5th August, 2019.
Replying a question, Sethi said that, during the 9 years of Modi government, media became more people friendly and this is not true during that last 9 years we did not organise such an interaction with media fraternity in Kashmir Valley, we are firm believers that media is the fourth pillar of democracy and media is working like a bridge between people and government.
Sunil Sethi, while lauding the role of media in Jammu and Kashmir, said that it plays a vital role to normalise the situation after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A.
Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board chairperson and MoS Dr Syed Darakhsahn Andrabi said, “India has taken lead in every sector. PM Modi made the country prosperous and proud in every aspect and today made us to celebrate 9 Saal be Missaal.”
