DODA: Amit Sudan’s all round performance with 50 runs and one wicket guided Media Eleven Jamnu to register win by beating Media Eleven Doda by 111 runs in the one day exhibition match which was played on the eve of ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Sports Stadium Doda. The exhibition match was organised by Young Star Cricket Club Doda.
Earlier, Media Eleven Jammu, batting first, set a target of 219 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Sachin Singh played an inning of 54 runs followed by Amit Sudan and Rahul Khatri, who made 50 and 36 runs respectively.
For Media Eleven Doda, Syed Riaz and Firdous Khanday shared one wicket each.
In reply, Media
Eleven Doda was bundled out for 108 runs in 14.1 overs.
Zuhaib Rangrez (24), Naseer Khora (21) and Mudassir Lone (seven) runs were the main scorers.
For Media Eleven Jammu, Naveen bowled a fine spell and took three wickets while Yash Khajuria, Ashu Sharma, Amit Sudan, Rahul Khatri and Amit Kumar shared one each.
Amit Sudan of Jammu Media Eleven was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
He was given prize by Chief Guest SSP Doda Z.N Manhas in the presence of Principal GDC Bhadarwah Prof Z.A Hashmi, DHO Dr Tariq Masood, Manager YSCC Mehboob Kraipak, DySP DAR Nisar Ahmed and SHO Doda Insp Udhay Wazir.
The match was officiated by Aayush Sharma, Bharat Jajuriya, Rinku Bhaduria and Ashok Sharma.
