JAMMU: Mayank Goswami Academy won in outdoor cricket match in Sportathon Cup 2016, an Inter School multi-sports competitions, organised by KC Sports Club, here on Friday. In today’s match, Mayank Goswami Academy outplayed JK Public School by six wickets.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, JK Public School set a target of 100 runs in 15 overs. Vianayak and Atif were the main scorers with 24. For Mayank Goswami Academy, Sarthak and Nitham took two wickets each.
In reply, Mayank Goswami Academy made a solid start and chase the target in just 11 overs. Sarthak played a fine knock of 45 runs while Sanoop added 28 to the total.
For JK Public School, Kashav and Saksham shared apiece each.
