JAMMU: Director Tourism Jammu Soujanya Sharma felicitated and handed over the Certificate of Recognition of Government of India, Ministry of Tourism, to Capt. Gour MD, Master Tours and Travels on the World Tourism Day.
Master Tours & Travels has become the First Tour Operator of Jammu Province to be recognised as an inbound tour operator by Government of India, Ministry of Tourism for their efforts in bringing in foreign clients for package tours in the state and the country and earning foreign exchange thereby.
Speaking on the occasion, Soujanya Shrama praised the efforts of Capt. Gour and said that he has managed to achieve this recognition in spite of various advisories issued against the State. It is a great honour for J and K Tourism that he has been recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. He also wished that Master Tours and Travels would scale further heights in getting foreign tourists to the State.
It is pertinent to mention here that Master Tours and Travels has been the pioneer in providing Inbound and out bound tour packages since 1995. Capt. Anil Gour, MD, Master Tours and Travels has already received the – “Bhartiya Paryatan Vikas Rattan Award’ from the International Business Productivity Forum at New Delhi in 2008 and also received the award of “Leading Service Provider In Outbound Tourism” from Travel Agents Association of India, J and K Chapter.
